Gary Sanchez Blasts An Absolute Monster Home Run

We are getting closer to the start of baseball season. Granted, it's still only spring ball, but Opening Day will be here before we know it.

There are several players looking to bounce back after a rough shortened season in 2020. One such player is New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez, who hit a career low .147 in 49 games last season.

Well, Monday's monster home run from Sanchez will certainly help his cause. Check it out.

Quite the dinger, right?

With the Yankees down 3-1 to the Detroit Tigers in the bottom of the third, Sanchez crushed the solo shot on a 3-1 count.

If Sanchez can get some consistency going at the plate, he could be one of the league's best catchers. The power is there, but more times than not, he either goes down swinging or launches one to the moon.

Here's hoping he can keep that kind of power going consistently this season.
