The PGA Tour is returning to action soon, but before the regular Tour events get started back up we have a few skins games to entertain us.
While many are excited for the Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson match with Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, we’ll be treated to another match prior to that featuring a few other big name golfers.
The PGA Tour, along with NBC Sports and Sky Sports, announced on Monday that they will be televising a $3 million dollar skins game called the TaylorMade Driving Relief that will benefit the American Nurses Foundation and the CDC Foundation. The match will feature two teams; Rory McIlroy and Dustin Johnson versus Rickie Fowler and Matthew Wolff. McIlroy and Johnson will be playing for the American Nurses Foundation and Fowler and Wolff will play for the CDC Foundation. The match will take place at Seminole Golf Club in Juno Beach, Florida.
The best part is that this event already has a date; Sunday, May 17 from 2 to 6 p.m. ET. It will be broadcast on NBC, GOLF Channel, NBCSN, and Sky Sports as well as PGA TOUR LIVE, GOLFPASS, GolfChannel.com and GOLFTV.
Any sports that can be bet on is a welcome site and FoxBet has already released odds for the 18-hole skins game. Not surprisingly, McIlroy and Johnson are favored to win the most money. Here are the odds:
McIlroy/D. Johnson -200
I’ll be taking Fowler and Wolff in an attempt to win some money even though McIlroy was still on fire when sports came to a halt.
