Friday Night College Football Pregame Show Coming to FS1

This fall we should have a lot of fun talking college football on FS1 and Fox Sports. That will start Friday night at midnight eastern when we'll have a pregame show for all you knuckleheads who are still up drinking on the east coast. Joel Klatt, Petros Papadakis, Matt Leinart, Dave Wannstedt, Bruce Feldman, Stewart Mandel, Todd Fuhrman and I will give you an hour lead into the weekend's games. (The show will also air in the mornings before games if you go to bed early and wake up early).

We've got a great crew putting the shows together and when you toss in checking in with Charles Davis, Gus Johnson, Tim Brando, Molly McGrath, Kris Budden and a ton of other on site analysts and reporters, we're going to have a collection of college football talent that I think is the best in the country.

As if that wasn't enough we'll be back on Saturday afternoons with an hour show on Fox and then back again on FS1 on Saturday night with a post-game wrap-up analysis of the day in college football. That means starting this weekend I'll be in LA for 16 straight weeks hanging out on the Fox lot watching and talking about college football. Yeah, it doesn't get much better than that.

Hope y'all will be able to check out the shows. They should be really good. And needless to say, if you're out drinking on Friday night, you're going to think our show is even better than it is. So I'd encourage that behavior. Personally, I'm just glad I can finally write about these shows.

To forestall the questions on Twitter and email, no radio update.

Our preseason college football special will air next week.
