With stadiums to expected to be full in the fall, or at least a lot closer to full, the buzz surrounding college football has started a little early.

So the fact FOX Sports revealed three of its network designations on Friday is news. Brace yourselves, Ohio State Buckeyes fans, here is the list:

  • Ohio State at Minnesota, Thursday, Sept. 2, on FOX
  • Oregon at Ohio State, Saturday, Sept. 11, FOX BIG NOON SATURDAY
  • Ohio State at Michigan, Satuday, Nov. 27, FOX BIG NOON SATURDAY

Ah, yes. Ohio State at Michigan. You know, the massive rivalry game that was cancelled last season because of the COVID-19 pandemic? It’s back baby, and FOX will be there.

And needless to say, the Buckeyes’ opener will be a fairly big deal, too. They did, after all, advance to the national championship game before losing to Alabama.

Meanwhile, Oregon’s visit to Ohio State will undoubtedly be among the most anticipated nonconference games of 2021.

College football? Big Noon? It’s time to start getting excited about the game again.
