Fox Sports 'Big Noon Kickoff' Crew Out This Weekend Due To COVID-19

The "Big Noon Kickoff" crew for Fox Sports will not be available this Saturday. The reason? COVID-10 quarantine protocols that will force the entire on-air group to take the weekend off. Instead, there will be a replacement crew.

According to the New York Post, the Pac-12 game between USC and Arizona State will not include its usual crew. The group typically consists of Urban Meyer, Brady Quinn, Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart and Robert Stone. The temporary replacements will include Terry Bradshaw, Emmanuel Acho, Howie Long and Charissa Thompson.

There is familiarity with the replacement crew, as the entire group does work for Fox Sports or FS1.

The Post also revealed that the show will be limited to one hour instead of the typical two-hour run, which is not really a surprise considering the timeframe and short notice. Other changes -- if any -- are not known at this time.

Fox Sports did tell The Post that this move was made “out of abundance of caution" with pressure from the CDC and Los Angeles Department of Public Health.

Obviously, this isn't the best start for the last remaining Power Five conference trying to get its season off the ground. But at least the news doesn't involve a specific team, like Wisconsin in the Big Ten.

We will see if the "Big Noon Kickoff" crew is able to return next weekend.
