WATCH: Marine Vet That Stopped Robbery Throws In 'Epstein Didn't Kill Himself' Line During Interview

Appearing on America's Newsroom with Dana Perino, Marine veteran James Kelcer detailed his brave intervention during an attempted gas station robbery. The scene was caught on video and Kelcer was lauded for his role.

As his interview with Perino began to wrap — the anchor offering Kelcer a beer for his heroic act — the Marine Corps vet gave viewers at home a quick reminder:

Epstein didn't kill himself.

Kelcer used his 15 seconds wisely to give the Newsroom hosts a chuckle, albeit a nervous one.

Prior to his declaration, Kelcer spoke on the abrupt scene involving the armed delinquents that took place Wednesday morning.

"I turn around to go and leave, kind of walk out and as I'm turning around I hear the door kind of open real aggressively," Kelcer said. "At that point, the ‘spidey senses’ tingled a little bit."

As reported by OutKick's Joe Kinsey, the Marine vet thwarted an attempted robbery at a gas station in Yuma, Arizona.

The two armed robbers walked in at around four o'clock in the morning, the first leading with a firearm held out. The vet, with one hand on his bagged snacks, acknowledged the poor form and swiftly stopped the armed perp, with the other sent running.

Per the Yuma County Sheriff's Department report:

“The armed suspect walked next to a store customer while pointing the weapon toward the cashier when the customer acted immediately and disarmed him. The other two suspects fled the area when they witnessed their fellow criminal stopped. The customer was able to detain the suspect he disarmed until law enforcement arrived."

“The Marine Corps taught me not to around,” the vet said, recounting the scene with local authorities.

With adept training and understanding of combat on display, who's to say this man doesn't know a thing or two about strangulation. Just a thought.
