Florida Gators Provide More Medical Updates on Basketball Star Keyontae Johnson

It was scary to watch Florida basketball star Keyontae Johnson collapse on the court on Saturday, but the school has done an excellent job keeping everyone updated on all developments.

Those updates continued on Monday.

First, it was a tweet letting us know that he's been successfully transferred from Tallahassee Memorial to the UF Health in Gainesville. The tweet also let us know that Johnson was following simple commands, which is a great sign.

According to an article from USA TODAY, Johnson was placed in a medically induced coma earlier in the day, but the "following simple commands" part of the tweet above insinuates that he's been woken up from that coma, which was expected.

More recently, the official Twitter account released a statement that Johnson was with immediate family and that those reaching out to help can send letters or cards to a specific address in Gainesville.

We will continue to update this story as it develops. More importantly, I hope everyone continues to keep Johnson and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
