Five Potential Landing Spots And Odds For Falcons WR Jones To Have A New Team in 2021

When it comes to Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones, there's plenty of interest by teams that would love to acquire his services.

Jones, who has played now 10 seasons in the NFL, is still regarded as one of the top pass catchers in all of the league. Last season he played in nine games, catching 51 passes for 771 yards and three scores.

The numbers are not normal for Jones, but he still was the #1 wide out for Matt Ryan and the Falcons, who struggled to just four wins but are looking for bigger and better in 2021.

IF the Falcons want to move Jones, there's a number of teams that would jump on the chance. Today we take a look at five teams that might make an offer for Atlanta.

Here's the list as we see it:

San Francisco (+450) - The Niners with new quarterback Trey Lance (let's not kid ourselves about Jimmy Garopollo being the starter) could use a top receiver, and Jones would look great in a Niners uniform. What a better way for Lance to get an education but to pair him with a pass catcher who is destined for the Hall of Fame.

Indianapolis Colts (+475) - Much like with the Niners going forth with a new QB, the Colts will do the same in 2021 after trading for quarterback Carson Wentz of the Eagles. Again giving Wentz a big-name weapon like Jones would be a major boost for the Colts, who are looking to take a step forward and win the AFC South. With Jones having played his whole career in the NFC, a switch to the AFC could be a welcome one.

Los Angeles Chargers (+475) - Justin Herbert is a star in the making, and giving him an excellent pass catcher in Jones would only make him better. Keenan Allen is an excellent pass catcher, and he and Jones could make a great 1-2 punch. If there's a darkhorse team that could use a big name pass catcher who could change the team's energy right away, it's Jones.

Baltimore Ravens (+600) - The only real team on the list with an established quarterback in Lamar Jackson, who some have said just needs an established star at the wide out spot to open up the Ravens offense in 2021. Jackson is a player who hasn't spoken out saying they need a star receiver, but you know that it would be a massive help moving along.

New England Patriots (+700) - Cam Newton to Julio Jones? Could be a great 1-2 punch for the Pats, a team that needs a TON of offensive firepower when the 2021 season starts. Last year the Pats were led pass catching by James White (49 catches, 375 yards). Also Jakobi Meyers (59/729), Damiere Byrd (47/604), and N’Keal Harry (33/309) rounded out players who made at least somewhat of an impact. Mind you Jones comes in and day one is your #1 pass catcher.

The Falcons want to move Jones. If a team and the Falcons can find a point of making it happen, you just might see Jones in a new uniform in 2021.
