“With the first pick of the NFL Draft…” Tweet Fails Through The Years

Videos by OutKick

As we all know, NFL Draft talk is not just confined to February, March, and April.  Throughout the college football season, folks love to speculate where certain top college players will be picked when they are eligible for the draft. One long running twitter meme is for someone to predict that a certain college player will be the number one pick in a future draft by tweeting a fake quote of the commissioner announcing the first overall pick. Some of these prognostications turn out to be way off the mark, some end up being very close to being right, some name a prospect who many now believe should have been the first pick, and some are tongue-in-cheek. Below is a collection from throughout the years.
