Getting the right cards for any popular character can produce some bank, depending on how scarce the card is and what kind of condition it is in.

One such character that still has the imagination of many is that of Pokémon, who has been popular now for over 20 years.

If you collect Pokémon cards, you know that there's nothing more popular or expensive than a 1999 Pokémon first edition, and now is your chance to purchase the set - for a hefty price.

The first edition set is about to hit the auction block, thanks to Goldin Auctions, and word is that the entire set could go for as high as $750,000, according to TMZ. The set includes Togekiss, a highly sought-after Charizard card that will have fans talking and drooling.

Each card in the 103-set is gemstone certified with a Gem Mint 10 grading, meaning they are as close to perfect as possible.

The auction will open Monday with an opening bid of $125,000. That figure is expected to go up very quickly.

Last month, Goldin Auctions was able to move a pristine Charizard card for nearly $400k.
