FIGHT! Punches Thrown On Xfinity Pit Road

Apple pie, fireworks on the 4th, Ric Flair telling ladies to get in line to ride Space Mountain, and good ol' boys throwing punches on pit road after a difference of opinions. It doesn't get much more American than those three things and the good ol' boys portion of America was on display Saturday night in Atlanta where Daniel Hemric and Noah Gragson came to blows over what sounds to be a pit box disagreement.

"There's a hole in the nose of my car and he got popped in the eye. Where I stand from, we're in good shape," Hemric said.

It was Black Rifle Coffee-sponsored (one of Clay's big sponsors too!) Gragson throwing the first punch as these two went toe-to-toe in the squared circle. Hemric claims he caught Gragson with a right hook. You can slow down the tape and take a look for yourself. It looks like it might've grazed Gragson.

Hemric's saying he pretty much considers this done since he caught Gragson with the punch. Gragson, 22, has embraced his role as a villain on the Xfinity series and villains don't go away after taking a punch. They don't go away that easy. “That’s my job is to get people talking about me. And it’s going good right now,” Gragson said in early March.

This isn't even the first time Gragson's thrown punches. during a July 2020 incident, he drilled Harrison Burton with a right hook.

Let's see what Denny Hamlin thinks about Gragson:
