Trump: 'As Far As I'm Concerned, We Already Have Won'

As OutKick expected, the 2020 presidential election wasn't resolved in the first night.

While a handful of states remain undecided and many ballots remain uncounted, President Donald Trump declared in a late night/early morning White House news conference: "As far as I'm concerned, we already have won."

Per Fox News' map, Joe Biden currently leads Trump, 237-213. Fox News is the only network to call Arizona for Biden, a controversial decision it stands by.

Thus, Trump's path to victory is narrow but not impossible.

Trump must now pick up either Michigan or Wisconsin in addition to winning Pennsylvania. With a smaller early lead, Wisconsin is less likely for Trump. This, of course, is only if Trump holds leads in both North Carolina and Georgia. If not, it's game over.

He seemed to be on his way to victories in both. However around midnight, the New York Times changed its forecast to a Biden win in Georgia. Fox News still suggests that Trump is likely to win Georgia.

And then there is Pennsylvania. The key state to the 2020 election could take days to count. So the chaos could continue.

"We believe we're on track to win this election," Biden announced in a surprise speech Wednesday morning.

Trump made his own statement well after 2 a.m. Eastern time, from the White House.

"Frankly, we did win this election," Trump said and referred to the process of continuing to count votes as a "fraud" and "an embarrassment to our country."

The president reiterated: “As far as I’m concerned we already have won.”
