Outkick Election Pollwatch: Thursday, July 2

Videos by OutKick

Each Thursday, Outkick will update you on the latest polls for the 2020 Presidential election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden.

Here are the latest polls from Real Clear Politics:

Tuesday, Outkick’s Ryan Glasspiegel broke down the odds via the books in the United Kingdom.

“Last week, Joe Biden was 8/13 (-162) and Donald Trump was 6/4 (+150) to win the 2020 Presidential election. Three weeks ago, Biden was 8/11 (-137) and Trump was 4/5 (+125). Today, the odds at books in the United Kingdom are as follows:

Joe Biden: 8/15
Donald Trump: 7/4

This means risk $15 to win $8 on Biden and risk $4 to win $7 on Trump. In moneyline odds, Biden would be -186 and Trump would be +175.”

Interestingly, Vice President Mike Pence went from 50-1 to 33-1 in the odds. This comes after a report earlier in the week that GOP operatives are wondering if Trump could drop out of the race if his numbers don’t rebound.

Something to watch with the polls: how will Biden’s vice-presidential pick impact his momentum? According to the New York Post, Biden is likely to choose Sen. Kamala Harris.
