Eagles Aim To Interview Titans' Arthur Smith, Buccaneers' Todd Bowles

The Philadelphia Eagles have already begun their search for a new head coach, just one day after parting ways with Doug Pederson.

A pair of separate ESPN reports say the Eagles have requested permission to speak with Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, as well as Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive coordinator Todd Bowles.

Smith has been the Titans' offensive coordinator since 2019. He has reportedly drawn interest from every team with a vacancy.

Bowles is the former head coach of the New York Jets, and he has been mentioned as a strong candidate for vacancies with the Eagles, the Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons. He compiled a 24-40 record in four years with the Jets.

Pederson was fired Monday after a 4-11-1 season and last-place finish in the AFC East.
