Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Comments On Possible Return To WWE

WWE fans have been waiting with patience for the eventual return of one of their favorites -- The Rock.

Dwayne Johnson's return to WWE will happen at some point, it's just a matter of when and what is put in front of him when he does come back.

Many think that "The Great One" is going to make an appearance at Survivor Series this November, celebrating the 25th anniversary of his WWF debut.

While that would be a great part of the show, don't forget Johnson has to promote  his new Disney movie Jungle Cruise, which comes out this next week starring Johnson and co-star Emily Blunt.

Johnson was asked by Entertainment Tonight whether we'll hear anything regarding WWE soon, and he simply replied, "There's nothing."

Now obviously Johnson is not going to go on television and tell everyone 'Yes, I have a deal in place' or give the date of his return. That would ruin the surprise  when Johnson is ready to walk that aisle once again.

Fans who want to see Johnson may have to wait though, as rumor has it that he'll return for WrestleMania 38 in Dallas next April for a match with his real-life cousin and current champion Roman Reigns.

Both have commented on the match, and it sounds like it'll happen if the timing and money is right.

It just may take a while.
