  2. Pretty much right on the money! My wife and I relocated to SoCal for my job, and of course, there are no Whataburgers in Cali (heathens!). We would take weekend trips to Phoenix specifically for the Whataburger that was there (farthest west one at that time) and to eat at Papadeaux’s Seafood Kitchen (again, the farthest west one at that time). Both fabulous Texas iconic restaurants. When we would fly back to central Texas to visit family, the first stop upon landing and the last stop before leaving was the Whataburger on 281 right before Loop 1604 on the way from and to the San Antonio airport.

  3. In NC w have a grocery chain here that sells a fresh deli made patty with loads of bacon and cheddar mixed up in ground beef, and its A big Un! Throw that burger on low heat for about 11 minutes per side, melt 1 piece of American on top, add some Ketchup, mustard, pickles, and you have the best burger you will ever have my friends.

    As for best fast food East Coast style, the Jersey Mikes Chicken Philly is mighty hard to beat. Mushrooms, green peppers, a little bit of ketchup, and the Miss Vickies Jalapeno chips every time.
