Drake Rents Out Entire Dodger Stadium For Date

It’s not quite Charlie Sheen buying out the entire outfield at an Angels game, but the end result was likely more satisfying. Thursday evening, rapper Drake, secured all of Dodger stadium for a date with entrepreneur/model Johanna Leia. I’m guessing Dodger dogs weren’t on the menu.

With the Dodgers finishing up a road trip in Miami, Drake and his lady friend had the diamond to themselves. The exclusive (and expensive) night out was captured by a Los Angeles ABC7 News helicopter that managed to shine the spotlight on the couple as they wined and dined on the third base line. The “hot corner” nickname has never been more appropriate.

A report from TMZ said the stadium was made available to Drake (real name Aubrey Graham) after he made a sizable donation to the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation.

Leia is an entrepreneur and former model who previously starred in a Lifetime reality series. Wait, you mean you didn’t watch ‘Bringing Up Ballers’ in 2017?

She's most well known for being the mother of Amari Bailey, one of the country’s top high school basketball recruits and a UCLA commit. Bailey hoops with LeBron James’ son, Bronny, at California’s Sierra Canyon. Cameras regularly make their way courtside to find Drake taking in home games, often next to Bailey. Surprisingly, the rapper hasn’t yet developed whiplash from gawking back and forth between the highly skilled Bailey, and the equally as blessed Leia.

This is setting the bar awfully high. Where’s the follow up date? Netflix and Chill probably won’t cut it after dining between the same white lines that housed Sandy Koufax, Jackie Robinson and Mike Piazza.

For those not familiar, Charlie Sheen once bought more than 2,600 outfield seats to an Angels game in the 90’s. He and his friends were seeking to leave the park with a home run ball or two. They came away empty handed.

No word on if Drake and Johanna had the opportunity to take batting practice in the empty stadium. If they did, I’m guessing Drake hit it.
