Dr. Pimple Popper Reveals What Grosses HER Out

Dr. Sandra Lee is exceptionally good at getting under people's skin. Her show on TLC, Dr. Pimple Popper, showcases some of the gnarliest zits, pimples, ingrown hairs, and other dermatological dreads ever put on television.

Located in Upload, California, Dr. Lee's office handles all procedures related to the extraction of dermal irregularities, tending to plenty of patients and each one unique (or sickening) in its own way.

While Dr. Lee has seen every procedure that can make even the strongest stomachs churn, the long-time dermatologist herself still has one procedure and a number of gross-out bodily fluids she prefers not to touch.

The three things that DPP, M.D. personally finds disgusting are: vomit, diarrhea and toe fungus removal.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Dr. Lee discussed some of her least favorites assignments involving the aforementioned bodily fluids and how she generally perceives the reaction to her "vile videos."

"My videos are there to entertain people, whether that means they are squeamish when looking at an eruptive hair cyst or infected lesion," she commented. "At the end of the day, it is my job I am showcasing, and I would never want to embarrass my patients by squirming at their skin condition or making them feel uncomfortable. My reputation is at stake."

Dr. Lee has been a certified dermatologist for nearly two decades with the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Mohs Surgery.

So when it comes to what makes even the most experienced dermatologist flinch, that's zit.
