Vaccinated Americans, you can now take your masks off outside. The time has come.
Thursday, Dr. Fauci said on CBS This Morning that he will now allow those vaccinated to once again show their faces outside:
“If you are vaccinated, you don’t have to wear a mask outside,” Fauci said.
Thank you, Dr. Fauci, for granting us our freedom.
A month ago, Fauci said absolutely “no” to anyone even thinking about taking off their mask post-vaccination.
“If you don’t have a mask, you might inadvertently infect” someone, Fauci tried to explain to NBC. “Now, there’s a small risk of that, but it’s there.”
I’m so tired of this guy. Not just because of this announcement, but because of all of his announcements. Fauci appears on one of the many mainstream news programs every single day to babble nonsense. He’s just trying to solidify his future on TV. The vast majority of his segments are useless. They’ve been useless for at least the past 11 months.
Last week, Fauci predicted that that mask-wearing would become “seasonal.” The week before, he said the country is in the “bottom of the sixth inning” in the war against COVID, but that it still has a long way to go. None of this means anything except that he’s coming for Dr. Sanjay Gupta Emmy awards.
Fauci also said Sunday that the country might be back to normal by — wait for it — Mother’s Day 2022. Isn’t that nice?
