Trump Rips Into Fauci After Release Of Early COVID Emails

Former United States President Donald Trump released a statement on Thursday about the recent email controversy surrounding Dr. Anthony Fauci. In it, Trump critiqued the epidemiologist for withholding information regarding the virus’ origins, per the online conversations.

Dr. Fauci—fresh on the publicity trail for his upcoming book, Expect the Unexpected: Ten Lessons on Truth, Service, and the Way Forward—has also been in the spotlight for a mass collection of emails, released by Buzzfeed, that linked the doctor to warnings of “gain of function” experiments happening overseas.

The emails demonstrate negligence by the epidemiologist, who discarded important information for being “too long to read.” Critics such as Senator Rand Paul have demanded answers regarding Dr. Fauci’s knowledge of the origins of the virus. It is heavily suspected that it can be connected to a lab in Wuhan, China. Fauci has repeatedly stated that he had no knowledge of a virus coming from the lab.

Former President Trump, in the midst of a social media blackout, released a statement via email demanding that Fauci answer to the American people who are wondering where the devastating virus came from. Trump reiterated that Fauci needs to be held accountable.

“There are a lot of questions that must be answered by Dr. Fauci. The funding of Wuhan by the U.S. was foolishly started by the Obama Administration in 2014 but ended under the Trump Administration. When I heard about it, I said ‘no way.’ What did Dr. Fauci know about ‘gain of function’ research, and when did he know it?,” said Trump.

He also released a second statement that read: “Now everyone, even the so-called ‘enemy,’ are beginning to say that President Trump was right about the China Virus coming from the Wuhan Lab. The correspondence between Dr. Fauci and China speaks too loudly for anyone to ignore. China should pay Ten Trillion Dollars to America, and the World, for the death and destruction they have caused!”

Serving as as both the expert on viruses and a frequent brake in Trump’s rapid COVID response in 2020, Fauci’s relationship with the former president during his time in office was often testy.

Despite withdrawing support for Donald Trump’s COVID guidance and briefings during the pandemic, Fauci still credits the former president for fast-tracking a miraculous vaccine timeline that has now led to our nation’s reopening.

Critics consider Dr. Fauci’s negligence and inaction a troubling sign since it indicates the epidemiologist worked to gain political favor from a rabid fanbase in the media rather than protect the health of the American people.

People eager to return to normalcy continue to move on from ongoing mandates and political influence left over from the pandemic. However, a strange romanticization of Fauci continues to grow on the radical Left, who even in the face of transparent proof from the email scandal, still consider him a hero in the fight against COVID and against President Trump.

  1. Trump should have been much harder on him from the start. He let Fauci get in the limelight too much and control communication. Trump should have brought in his own virology team to “fact check” and challenge Fauci. We’ve been left with a disaster. It’s not Trump’s fault, but he certainly could have helped more to limit the damage Fauci inflicted.

    • Nah Desantis or bust it’s time to move on from Trump man the Media machine has entirely too much ammunition propaganda wise and enough drive by fucking retard voters and changed election laws to completely bury him in a second campaign.

  2. In a recent Russell Brand interview of Edward Snowden, one statement was particularly memorable:
“The biggest conspiracies are in plain sight.”

We live in a world where the bad guys currently have no rules or consequences…
I’m amazed the Fauci ‘news’ isn’t being blacked out, a la Biden Hunter and all the other far left crimes.

    President Trump, come back soon!!

  3. The emails displayed *negligence* by the epidemiologist, discarding important information for being “too long to read.” (emphasis added)

No fI#*% sh!t. This is what this arsehole gets paid to do. If I just look at an audit opinion and don’t bother reading whether it’s full of Swedish gibberish or actual IT testing, I get fired, and my company (my old ones, anyway) get sued. You had ONE JOB.

  4. If we had any semblance of a real FBI or DOJ anymore, this little scumbag would already be in cuffs. Instead, he’s posing for magazine covers and getting his makeup done to appear on MSDNC. Disgraceful.

  5. Okay Don typical shit let the infestation run rampant then say I told you so when they show to be working against your interests and you have the public opinion back on your side. It’s DeSantis or bust in 2024 sorry but Donald Trump was the best and worst thing to ever happen to the Republican party and if you can’t see that by now you aren’t being objective whatsoever. Don’t ever get sucked into the persona let them show you some grain of substance to back it up all the way through it’s almost impossible in politicians but we HAVE to start prioritizing it as a country.
