Dolphins Give Bills Free Runs At Tua. It Ends Badly For Miami

Videos by OutKick

MIAMI GARDENS — One of the pre-draft knocks on Tua Tagovailoa coming out of Alabama was his injury history in college.

The Dolphins might be seeing that history expand now with the team’s starting quarterback knocked out of Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills after only two series.

Tagovailoa was hit by Bills defensive end A.J. Epenesa and remained on the ground clutching his right arm close to his body as if protecting his torso. He has a rib injury, according to the Dolphins.

The quarterback tried to get up and walk back to the sideline but collapseD in pain before he reached the sideline. Tagovailoa was eventually carted to the Miami locker room.

The hit on Tagovailoa happened when right tackle Jesse Davis whiffed on his block attempt. It was the third unblocked Bills defender to hit Tagovailoa in only two series.

Backup Jacoby Brissett took over for Tagovailoa. The Dolphins said Tagovailoa was questionable to return.

The Dolphins struggled early against the Bills, giving up a touchdown the first two times Buffalo had the football.

  1. Second time I am aware of being carted off the field I said from the get go this dude was way way over hyped long injury history too fragile and his NFL career will not be long. Wish him the best thought seems like a good man but pro football isn’t his deal and as we see today other teams know
