Dodgers first baseman Max Muncy has reportedly been struck in the face by a ground ball during infield practice ahead of World Series game 1. He was able to walk to the clubhouse under his own power and will receive treatment.

Just 15 minutes later, Muncy emerged from the dugout to hit batting practice on the field. Dodgers fans can breath again.

Fans were already sweating Clayton Kershaw’s outing tonight and couldn’t afford any more stress. Looks like L.A. will have all their horses in the race to go up 1-0 in this World Series.
