How long until the NFL has a transfer portal?

Deshaun Watson is now getting support from random guys in the NFL -- Rams CB Jalen Ramsey -- who are saying it would be shocking if Watson ever plays another down for the Texans. "I highly doubt he will suit up in a Texans uniform again. He’s extremely serious," Ramsey told the NFL Network's Steve Wyche, Jim Trotter and Thomas Warren on their podcast.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Deshaun Watson to Denver. The Broncos are sitting on the No. 9 pick, they haven't been over .500 since 2016, and they have no choice but to keep up with the Chiefs in a big way. The Texans need immediate value for any No. 1s they're going to receive, so they might as well get it right now and perhaps land a Trey Lance with that 9th pick.

Now, that brings us to the transfer portal. It's starting to feel like that's what the NFL quarterbacks are aiming for here. I don't like the situation I'm in, I want to transfer schools. They're NBAing the NFL. It makes for great content, but if you're a fan with Russell Wilson as your quarterback, be careful rushing out to get his jersey when the team releases a new color scheme to make you buy new products.

It feels like Russell Wilson to Vegas just makes so much sense. He gets the QB position. Ciara gets a lounge show. The city gets a high-profile couple to officially open the new stadium to fans. This is just how the NFL works. Imagine the AFC West with Mahomes, Watson, Wilson and Herbert. One can dream.

• You know it's bad for Andrew Cuomo when the New York Times is reporting his nursing home scandal lines up with his book release. Meanwhile, 'VID charts keep being pushed further down the home page. Tough times for Andy.

Mark Cuban has some thoughts on the NFTs that you keep hearing about. Even the Kings of Leon (who knew they were still going strong?) will release an album as an NFT. This is your official all the rage of 2021. Get caught up on the latest.

That's it, let's have a strong Friday, get those weekend projects lined up and hit 'em straight. I have a Costco run planned for this weekend, and I'm going shopping for wood. It should be another productive weekend.
