Despite New Super Bowl Dance Partner, Tom Brady Still Has A Lot Of Love For Patriots

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots went steady for a while. Well, it was a little longer than that, but you get the point. It was the kind of pairing other quarterbacks and NFL teams wanted, and it brought a ton of success.

But the Brady-Patriots marriage finally ran its course, and now the six-time Super Bowl champ is off trying to get ring No. 7 with another franchise. Despite the break-up, Brady has nothing but love, respect and admiration for his former team.

"Any time you change teams, you don’t know how it’s going to go. But there’s been incredible support from the team I used to play for, all the New England fans,” he said, via Pro Football Talk. “I have a lot of love for Boston and all of New England. Incredible support over the years. It was an amazing two decades of my life."

We're finally starting to settle into a life that includes the greatest NFL quarterback of all time donning a Tampa Bay Buccaneers uniform. It was an odd transition for all of us, but imagine how strange it's been for the two parties involved.

It's good to see Brady say nice things about his former team. Would we expect any different? Nah, probably not, but it's still nice.

Now we just need a few well thought-out, detailed comments from Bill Belichick.
