Democratic Strategist Says 'Wokeness is a Problem and We All Know It'

Longtime Democratic strategist James Carville said in an interview with Vox that "Wokeness is a problem and we all know it."

He further elaborated on his thoughts of the state of Democratic politics on CNN, where he said the party's blanket allegiance to "all things woke" is a problem for the party.

Carville, who was the chief strategist on former President Bill Clinton's 1992 campaign, said no polls are needed to see the concerns — he referenced the 2020 voting results that cost certain districts congressional seats with the "defund the police" movement.

"People who don't want to live like this are scared to address the issue because it might come out the wrong way," Carville said.

OutKick owner Clay Travis tweeted about the interview and said: "James Carville off the top rope on the Democratic party’s wokeness problem. Finally, a Democrat willing to stand up to their absurd woke mob."
