Deadspin published an article over the weekend warning NFL teams that they better not hire Mike McDaniel, the San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator, because he’s a white guy.
“Please stop and think before you inadvertently dub another young, white guy as the next hot NFL coaching prospect,” Deadspin’s subheading reads.
The first step to proper race-baiting is getting the skin colors of the subjects right. Deadspin missed that step. McDaniel is biracial, not a dangerous creature known as a “white man.”
Upon learning of this loser writer’s mistake, Deadspin hilariously added an editor’s note to the top of the post, reading as follows:

What’s more, Deadspin recently published its annual list called “Idiots of the Year,” this time calling Sage Steele the “black Candace Owens.”
So as long as Deadspin is fair, it’ll rank itself as the biggest idiot of 2022. While it’s only January, it’s hard to imagine anyone in sports topping what’s left of Deadspin in the idiocy category.
The only doofus with any shred of writing talent from Deadspin was Magary, and he went off with his fellow lefty bed-wetters to Defector, so giving any coverage to Deadspin at this point is roughly equivalent to giving coverage to what’s being said on your local high school’s Facebook page.
