Daniel Jones To Make Return In Another Biggie For Giants

It's the biggest game of the year for the New York Giants, and they are therefore probably happy to know their starting quarterback will return.

According to multiple reports, Daniel Jones is a go for Sunday's road game against the Baltimore Ravens. This is news because Jones' status had been uncertain most of the week, as he's struggled with hamstring and ankle injuries.

Plus, the Giants' offense was fairly flat in last week's loss to the Cleveland Browns. Colt McCoy was the man taking the snaps in that game.

Jones gives the Giants their best chance to win -- in theory anyway. And man, the Giants need to win. Another loss, and their playoff chances are history. It sounds strange to say that a 5-9 team is still in the playoff race, but that's where the Giants are today. They're still only a game behind the NFC East-leading Washington Football Team.

Of course, the Ravens (9-5) could use a win, too. They too are fighting for their playoff lives in the AFC.

Along with the Giants and Washington, the Cowboys (5-9) and Eagles (4-9-1) are also miraculously still in the mix for the NFC Least title.
