I don't have much time to spare this morning...my mom is on her way to visit the grandkids and I have football to watch
It was an incredibly productive Saturday around here. The LED fireplace project with my father-in-law couldn't have gone better. We were able to get the massive fireplace mounted while watching Georgia smoke Arkansas and Michigan beat up on a suddenly bad Wisconsin program that looks lost. I'm fully convinced Michigan isn't as good as its perfect record and I'm fully convinced that Wisconsin will somehow manage to get six wins and play in the Pinstripe Bowl if it's still around.
The big news from Saturday in the CFB Final has to be that Ohio State got the help it needed. The Pac-12 looks like it will find a way to not make the playoff, Notre Dame got that all-important loss and the ACC is out of the discussion. I know you guys hate Ohio State and wish they'd go away, but here they come. The Buckeyes will be back in the Top 10 along with Iowa, Penn State and you have to believe Michigan will be at No. 10.
As for Cincinnati, I feel like it's going to be an emotional rollercoaster for that program over the next two months. The CFB Playoff committee isn't letting them into its party, but they may throw a bone and let them sit at No. 4 for a couple of weeks as a complete tease. Then a Big Ten team will emerge and jump right over the Bearcats on their way to get beat up by Bama or Georgia.
