Dak Set To Be 'Full Go' When Cowboys Camp Opens

The Dallas Cowboys open training camp next month, and according to coach Mike McCarthy, Dak Prescott is expected to be a "full go".

"He hasn't missed anything that's been slated. He's doing a lot of extra, frankly, so the anticipation would be for him to go every day is the outlook," he said. "We're not naive. It's just like any player comes back from injury, especially a major joint injury. The first year back, there's going to be some things you have to work through, but I would anticipate we'd start with him in full mode, get him into the team periods and get back to playing football."

Prescott is coming off a dislocated and compound fracture of his right ankle, and a recently signed four-year, $160 million contract extension. That's with $66 million guaranteed, so the Cowboys must feel Dak is far ahead of schedule to be talking like this.

So far, Prescott looks good moving in and out the pocket at OTAs. He does seem to be taking it easy, which could be cause for speculation, but who isn't? Quarterbacks like Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes look like they're moving slowly, too.

We're happy to see Dak getting healthy. We want to watch Jerry Jones and the Cowboys go down fair and square.
