Dak Prescott's Neighbors Leave Message Of Support On His Front Lawn

Imagine sitting there watching the Cowboys game when you see your neighbor, Dak Prescott, suffer a horrible compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle. It hits a little different than opening up Facebook to see that Heather down the street pulled a hamstring during a rotary club 5k. We're talking about your neighbor, who put in a backyard practice field where members of the Cowboys take reps in the offseason.

The neighborhood came together to put a "get well soon your neighbors" message in the yard of Dak Prescott to show him some support.

Too many of us are living in neighborhoods where we just leave "thoughts and prayers" on a Facebook post and then get back to looking at our stocks and Instagram timelines. Not Dak's neighborhood. These people clearly care about the guy who was on track to be the Cowboys quarterback for the next decade.

Outkick's Dr. Chao said this week, "Dak suffered the severest form of a high ankle injury where the bone breaks and the toes point east while the kneecap points north."

"The good news is Dak should be ready for the start of 2021 and his hopes of a long term big money deal are not over," Chao added.

Happier times are ahead for Dak and his supportive neighbors, who clearly want to see the Cowboys QB live on their street for years to come.
