Dak Prescott Leaving Adidas, Signing Five-Year Deal With Jordan Brand

Dak Prescott already signed a four-year, $160 million deal to stay with the Dallas Cowboys this offseason. However, with a new endorsement off the field, Prescott is going to be pulling in way more money than that over the next half decade.

On Wednesday night, Adam Schefter with ESPN announced that the star quarterback was leaving Adidas. That's because Prescott has reached a five-year agreement with the Jordan Brand. According to Schefter, this news makes Prescott: 1) the only quarterback 2) the only Cowboys player and 3) the highest-paid NFL player on the Jordan Brand roster.

Considering that he suffered such a gruesome leg injury less than a year ago, it's fantastic to see the 27-year-old secure his financial future in more way than one. This is generational wealth type of numbers now, and Prescott deserves it.

Prescott starred at Mississippi State for four seasons, then went on to be a fourth-round pick by the Cowboys back in 2016. An injury to starting quarterback Tony Romo gave Prescott the opportunity to showcase his abilities -- and he made the most it.

He's been the starter ever since, racking up 17,634 passing yards, 106 touchdowns and only 40 interceptions in 69 games -- nice. He's also added another 1,314 yards and 24 scores on the ground, making him one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the league.
