D-Backs Help Connor Buckley Locate Roomie, Date In Stands

The Arizona Diamondbacks love baseball, this is true. But they clearly love young love almost as much.

We saw evidence of this after FIFA esports sensation Connor "BuckArmy" Buckley tweeted at the team, mentioning his roommate was on a date, "6 rows above home plate." Buckley asked the team to help him locate his pal and see how things were going.

The Diamondbacks' social team forwarded his request to Bally Sports Arizona, which carries broadcasts of their games. "You'll probably have better luck with the TV crew," the Diamondbacks responded, tagging Bally Sports Arizona in the process.

But truth was, the Diamondbacks couldn't resist. They too became "curious," asking what Buckey's roommate was wearing so they could locate him.

The constant back-and-forth offered fans a glimpse into the dating life of Buckley's roommate, with Bally Sports Arizona eventually admitting "we're invested in this now," and requesting more updates.

In the end, Buckley made just one final request.

The Diamondbacks posted the entire exchange, and even posted a pic of Buckley's roomie and his date on their official Twitter handle.

Oh, in case you're wondering, the Diamondbacks were hammered by the Colorado Rockies, 14-6. But that's beside the point.

On this night, they ended up winners. And now we can't all help but wonder whether Buckley's roommate did too.
