Zach Wilson's Mom Mixes It Up With Haters On Social Media After An 'Affair With The Hot Guy From The Gym' Joke

Zach Wilson's mom, Lisa, isn't afraid of rubbing people the wrong way on social media.  She's not afraid of mixing it up with them either, even if she didn't mean to rub them the wrong way.

The latest drama surrounding the mom of the New York Jets 2021 first-round pick started on Wednesday when she shared a video on her Instagram Stories.

Lisa joked in the clip, that showed her husband Mike at the gym, that she was having an affair.  She wrote, "I’m having an affair with the hot guy from the gym, who also happens to be my husband."

Harmless enough, right?  A good clean joke that nobody would ever find offensive, right?  Wrong.  Unfortunately, we don't live in a world where a joke can be told without someone being offended by it.

Lisa's seemingly innocent comment brought out the haters.  One of them decided to slide into her DMs to give their morally superior take.

The message read, "Affairs are nothing to make light of.  For real.  They’re not funny.  They destroy families and children’s lives."

Being the content machine, who rode a strong viral draft night performance to 157k Instagram followers, that she is, Lisa responded to the DM in her Instagram Story.  She wrote, "Um…. I don’t think i made fun of it.  We weren’t good.  We were tired and disconnected."

"So I thought why do people have affairs?  So I did all the same things to try to bring a spark back.  Flirting, sexy texts.  And it worked.  I’m trying to promote finding that fire with your person."

If you thought Lisa was leaving it there, you're not familiar with her work.  She didn't become a tabloid sensation by sending out a simple response.

She added in a follow-up story, "I’m not for everyone and that’s ok.  I’m just a mom and wife trying to help women live their best life.  Sharing things that work for me."

And for the people in the back who missed her first couple of responses, she shared a picture from their wedding day.  She said, "If you’re new here….  THIS is the hot guy at the gym..  he’s ALSO the father of my 6 children, who I’ve been married to for 27 years next Friday."

I don't know when people are going to learn, but if you come for Lisa Wilson, she's going to be firing right back at them.  Wednesday was supposed to be a day of celebration for the family.

Lisa and her family were supposed to be celebrating the fact that Zach and his agent had been given permission to seek a trade from the Jets.  She wasn't supposed to be wasting her time battling with haters and revealing that she was sexting her husband to get the spark back in their nearly three-decade-old relationship.
