White House Correspondents Dinner Party Chaos And Much More | Weekend Recap

Another great weekend is in the books, and we all know what that means:

Time for another OutKick Weekend Recap.

This weekend was the weekend of one of the most interesting times of the year in Washington, D.C. It was the weekend of the White House Correspondents Dinner.

For those of you who don't know, it's a big event where the press gets together at a fancy location, the President shows up, there are some jokes told and everyone has a good time. I didn't attend the actual event. You couldn't pay me to attend the event. It's way too stuffy for my working class roots.

However, the party scene every year is awesome. It's the best party time of the year in D.C., other than maybe the 4th of July. You never know who you're going to run into or where you might find yourself.

I only hit up one major event at a location I can't reveal, but it was an absolute blast. Below are a couple photos, including one with a baby Heineken.

After staying up way too late past my bedtime on Friday, I had a pretty standard rest of the weekend seeing an old friend in town, a trip to Dirty Water and dealing with a semi-sick dog. Overall, nothing too crazy or wild. But I did fire off this doozy of a tweet that people seemed to enjoy.

Now, let's get into everyone else.

OutKick readers celebrate the weekend.

As always, the OutKick readers didn't disappoint. You all crushed it, once again, and there's plenty of content to dive into. Let's roll.

I have no idea what JazzFest is, but I do know that looks awesome.

We always seem to have some fun sports action. This weekend was definitely no different.

Keeping it casual but fun. I can get behind that.

Be careful. We all know the animal thunderdome doesn't play games and it shows no mercy!

Please tell me there's some rum or tequila in that drink. I've never drank in the morning outside of being in Las Vegas, at an airport on my way to vacation, or a shower beer during college football season, but damn, that looks tasty.

I love hunters, and hunters love me. Best people on the planet. Also, is that a Remington 870? It's the AK-47 of the shotgun world, and I have one myself. Few things are cooler in life than a great pump-action shotgun.

I honestly can't remember the last time I saw a garage sale.

There's always people working on the weekend.

Costco. A true one-stop shop for all your needs.

It's always great to get outside and get some exercise.

What a great view! Sign me up.

Where the hell in America is it still getting this kind of snow?

And if you need to see the exact opposite, the photo below will get the job done.

Who doesn't love when nature and a Jeep come together?

A little more nature.

Well, this doesn't seem like fun at all.

Hitting weights is never a bad idea.

You're not a real American if this doesn't make you want to stand up and cheer.

A cookout and a baseball game is about as American as it gets.

I don't know what's going on here, but let's be smart about mixing booze and firearms…..and I say that as someone who likes guns.

Who doesn't love bowling?

And that's a wrap on the latest Weekend Recap. Make sure to keep checking back and send all your stuff to David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
