Video: Driver Skids Off Ramp, Falls 70 Feet, Survives

A driver in West Allis, Wisconsin survived a frightening crash after skidding off an interchange ramp and falling 70 feet to the highway below.

WISN 12 obtained the video on Monday:

Deputies found the pickup upright after it appeared to hit a snowbank which led to the fall.

"The biggest risk with that is the melting and the freezing creates sort of a ramp, a natural ramp," Milwaukee County's Director of Highways and Maintenance Eddie Santiago said.
