The Lunatics Are Furious Over Disneyland's New Snow White Ride 'Kiss'

Disneyland is open again after a 400-day layoff and that means visitors are getting their first in-person look at the remodeled "Snow White's Enchanted Wish" ride. It didn't take long for a couple of reviewers from SFGate.com, a sister-site of the San Francisco Chronicle, to find a problem with the ride and the grand finale "true love kiss" planted on Snow White by Prince Charming.

That's right, nothing is getting by the wokes, not even a fictional kiss from a movie.

"The new ride includes a more comprehensive storyline — but that's also the problem. The new grand finale of Snow White's Enchanted Wish is the moment when the Prince finds Snow White asleep under the Evil Queen's spell and gives her 'true love's kiss' to release her from the enchantment. A kiss he gives to her without her consent, while she's asleep, which cannot possibly be true love if only one person knows it's happening," Katie Dowd and Julie Tremaine write.

Katie and Julie weren't done there.

*Bangs head against the wall.*

These two aren't the first to attack the kiss over the years. They're just the first to be triggered by the ride. That's quite an accomplishment that they'll be able to share via their social resume at San Francisco parties where they'll be hailed as heroes to the community. That said, they'll never be gender studies professor Kazue Muta who, in 2018, called the scene "sexual violence" and the actions of the Prince should be classified as those of a sexual predator.
