Woke Mob Attacks Taylor Swift For Dumbest Reason Imaginable

Taylor Swift is facing backlash from the woke mob for the dumbest reason possible.

The most famous entertainer on the planet released her new album "The Tortured Poets Department" for fans Friday.

The 31-track album has been dominating social media ever since the moment the first half of the album dropped. The second half dropped a couple hours later, and it's been off to the races since.

A lot of people love the album. I do not. I think it's some of her weakest work. However, there's a bigger problem she now faces:

Woke outrage.

Taylor Swift faces woke outrage over simple lyrics about 1830.

The wokes are upset because of some very simple lyrics on the song "I Hate it Here." Swift sings the following on the song:

My friends used to play a game where
We would pick a decade
We wished we could live in instead of this
I'd say the 1830s but without all the racists
And getting married off for the highest bid

A normal person hears those lyrics and doesn't think anything about it. I didn't even notice the lyrics the first time I listened to the album.

Well, the outrage mob hears her saying she'd like to live in the 1830s, and of course, they have to be livid. There are some braindead takes unfolding online.

Check out some of the wildly dumb reactions below, and send your thoughts to David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

I can't believe this is even real. How are people honestly outraged about the fact she sang about wanting to be in "the 1830s but without all the racists"?

Are the lyrics the most powerful ever? No. Is there a reason to be outraged? Absolutely not. This is a prime example of people on the internet taking things way too seriously.

If you're offended by lyrics to a *checks notes* Taylor Swift, then you're either insanely soft or way overthinking things. Her music is vanilla by design. It's meant to appeal to as many people as possible. The idea she's trying to subtly send racist messages is QAnon level thinking.

Also, let's just drill this down for a second. What is inherently wrong with saying you want to live in an old decade? Is it unacceptable for me to say I'd like to imagine the boys and I alive during the Revolutionary War smoking the British? What about if I said the 1930s or 1940s? Where do the wokes draw the line on when it's acceptable to be born when it comes to song lyrics?

Of course, there is no line because they hate America's past and this great country's present. That's why you can't bend the knee to these losers. They can't be appeased or pleased. They just need to be ignored. Let them throw their little tantrums and just keep living life.

You think Taylor Swift is sweating the fact some chronically online people are throwing a fit? Absolutely not. Again, I don't even like the album but I know nonsense when I see it. Taylor Swift has nothing to apologize for, and I won't apologize for defending her. Live your life free of worry about what the outrage mob might think.
