People Want Clay Travis Arrested For Calling For Trump-Hush Money Nullification

People online want Clay Travis arrested.

Immediately.

Earlier Monday, Clay posted on X that he would nullify the "hush money" case Donald Trump faces against Democrat Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg in the following post:

"If you’re a Trump supporter in New York City who is a part of the jury pool, do everything you can to get seated on the jury and then refuse to convict as a matter of principle, dooming the case via hung jury."

"It’s the most patriotic thing you could possibly do."

His name started to trend shortly after.

Eric Swalwell, the Democrat congressman in California who allegedly slept with a Chinese spy and also allegedly used campaign funds for Super Bowl tickets, accused Clay of committing a felony:

It's unclear what Swalwell enjoyed more: the game or the spy. (We suspect the spy – given that the California-native 49ers lost.)

Keith Olbermann is also on the #ArrestClayTravis bandwagon. Olbermann demands that the state of Tennessee strip Clay from his law license.

There are more. We rounded out the best seven:

What do you guys think?

How does he look behind bars?

For the sake of his gambling picks, we hope he would not be able to take that mic behind bars. Remember, he once tweeted out odds on Twitter as proof of his erroneous theory that Tyrion (the signature dwarf on "Game of Thrones") was a half-blooded dragon rider, as in a Targaryen.

What a harebrained prediction that was.

So, what are the chances that the feds arrest Clay Travis for tweeting about nullifying "his money" case against Donald Trump?

For that insight, I sought out the opinion of one of the fastest-rising lawyers in New Jersey and Fox News/OutKick regular (read her columns here) Lexie Rigden.

Per Lexie:

"In NY, jury tampering to influence the outcome of a trial is a misdemeanor. To be guilty, communications must have been made to a specific juror in the trial. In other words, an opinion about jury service to a potential jury pool would not be enough."

There you have it.

Thus, we shall ask: should Clay Travis be arrested? Comment below with your one-word answers.

(I'm still on the fence.)
