Knockout at the buzzer during UFC 300

There were knockouts all over the UFC 300 fight card on Saturday night.  None more insane than the buzzer beater KO in the Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway fight.

With just a few seconds left on the clock in the fifth-round, the two lightweights went full Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots on one another.  They apparently had no plans of leaving the fight up to the judges.

It probably wasn't the smartest move, but it was entertaining as hell.  Holloway points at the center of the ring as if to invite Gaethje to give the fans an entertaining finish.

Gaethje agreed to go down swinging, and the two men exchanged punches in the middle of the octagon with 10 seconds left in the fight as if to say may the man with the stronger chin win.

With a second on the clock, Holloway folds Gaethje with a vicious shot and puts an all-time KO at the buzzer in the books.  Again, probably not the smartest move by either man, but what a finish to a fight.

That was awesome.  Now let's take a look at one of the dumbest moves you'll ever see in the octagon.  Jalin Turner and Renato Moicano's fight during the early prelims showed every fighter why you never assume you've knocked someone out.

At the end of the first-round, Turner dropped Moicano with a big left hand.  Instead of jumping on his downed opponent and finishing him off, he turns and walks away thinking that he just landed a walk-off knockout.  He did not.

Moicano popped right up to his feet and continued the fight.

Fast-forward to the final minute of the second-round and the tables have turned on Turner.  He's on the ground getting absolutely mauled by the man he thought he had KO'd.

The referee eventually steps in and Moicano walks away with the win.  Talk about an unbelievable turn of events.  What was Turner thinking after he dropped Mociano?  The dude was never asleep.

Let this be a lesson to all the fighters out there.  Don't assume your opponent is knocked out, especially when their eyes are still open, and they don't show any signs of being unconscious.

A burglar took a huge dump and left it for the homeowners

Speaking of things you should never do.  You should never break into someone's house.  But if you do, you shouldn’t take the time to take a huge dump in the toilet and leave it for the homeowners to find.

That's exactly what happened near Toronto last week.

A thief broke into a home and stole jewelry, clothing, sunglasses, and prescription medication.  But before they called it a day, they left a "large bowel movement" in the toilet.

Not only is that completely unnecessary, but you're leaving some evidence behind that could be used to identify you.

It wasn't reported if the police collected the "large bowel movement" or a portion of it as evidence, but they didn't need a DNA match to catch this thief.

A few days after the break-in, a - get ready for a plot twist - a 22-year-old woman was spotted by police walking around wearing some of the stolen clothing.  She was arrested.

The break-in dumper is facing charges for breaking and entering, and possessing stolen property.  The unauthorized use of the bathroom was not against the law.

Job well done!!

Sean,

Nicely done with the call up this week! Joe needs to get you a raise. Content, excellent! Fighting thru tech issues, like storming a beach on a digital D day!! T and A game, magnificent!

The Brooke girl with the typical day in the barn today!  As a former member of the shit shovelers union of West Central Ohio, I can confidently and comfortably say that  has never been a scenario that I have come across! Granted I have seen my share of farmers daughters, but never like that!  Outfucking standing!

Good job and thanks!

  Harvey D.

Thanks, Harvey.  I appreciate the support.  We battled through it while Joe was on the road, and continue to do so with the IG embed issue.

Anytime Joe is out, and I'm able to do so, I'll answer the call.  It's a ton of work, but well worth the blood, sweat, and tears that go into it.

Feel free to reach out to me @sjoseph_sports on X or via email at sean.joseph@outkick.com, especially if you want to throw a "job well done" my way.

Anyway, it's the Sunday of The Masters weekend and someone is leaving Augusta National with a green jacket.  Scottie Scheffler is on top of the leaderboard.

It doesn’t look like he'll have to leave early for the birth of his child, which is good news for him.

Get some scrolling in before you spend the day glued to your screen watching to see if he can hold on.  I'll see you next Sunday.
