Madonna Scolds Fan For Sitting Down During Concert Only To Discover They're In A Wheelchair

No matter what embarrassing thing you did this week, you can rest assured it's nowhere near as bad as what happened to Madonna.

The 65-year-old popstar was performing at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles Thursday when she noticed a fan with the audacity to be sitting down during the show.

"What are you doing sitting down over there? Why are you sitting down?" Madonna scolded.

She walked to the edge of the stage to get a closer look — only to make a horrifying discovery: The fan was wheelchair-bound.

"Oh, OK. Politically incorrect. Sorry about that," Madonna backpedaled. "I’m glad you are here."

YIKES.

And not surprisingly, the backlash on social media has been swift and brutal — calling out the Queen of Pop for demonstrating ableism, acting cruel and not offering a sufficient apology once she realized her mistake.

First of all, TikTokers attacking super-woke Madonna for being "insensitive" and "ableist" is unequivocally hilarious. Second, if I pay hundreds of dollars for a floor seat at a concert (which is the going rate these days), it is none of the artist's damn business whether I sit, stand, kneel, squat or spin around in circles.

But it's been a rough tour for the ol' gal. Just a few weeks ago, Madonna took an embarrassing spill on stage when she fell off of a chair that was being dragged across the floor by a drag queen.

Guess that's what she gets for sitting down during a concert.
