Laken Riley’s Suspected Murderer Waved Through U.S. Border Despite To Deadly Gang

Last week, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed the migrant charged with murdering Laken Riley, a menace named Jose Antonio Ibarra, entered the U.S. illegally in 2022.

A report from the New York Post on Friday provides further details regarding Ibarra's arrival in the U.S. – specifically, how he was "waved through the US border and not required to check in with authorities until two years later."

The report also learned that Ibarra is part of the deadly Tren de Aragua gang, per ICE sources.

While authorities arrested Ibarra in 2022 for illegally crossing into the US in September 2022, they released him on parole and gave him free rein in the U.S.

The city of New York even provided him with shelter.

"He was even arrested by police in the city but let go, before fleeing to Georgia to meet his allegedly violent brother, who had also been allowed into the country but who cut off an ankle monitor to evade authorities," details The Post.

Jose Antonio Ibarra easily entered the U.S. The U.S. then took care of him. Two years later, he brutally murdered Laken Riley – a 22-year-old nursing student while she was jogging a trail between college courses.

Officials charged Ibarra with concealing the death of another, false imprisonment, felony murder, malice murder, kidnapping, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery in connection with the death of Riley.

Jose Antonio Ibarra is a violent thug who should not have ever been able to cross the border. Yet Joe Biden's senseless open border policy permitted him to do so.

So, it's no wonder Biden refused to say her name until Marjorie Taylor Greene pressured him to say it on stage during his eccentric State of the Union address on Thursday.

Biden finally said the name "Laken Riley." Well, sort of.

He called her "Lincoln Riley" and sought to downplay her death by suggesting illegals don't kill that many U.S. citizens.

Riley's own mother, Allyson Phillips, implicated Biden's border policy for the death of her daughter in a viral post on Facebook last Sunday.

"It would be really easy to lose our faith in mankind because of this senseless and avoidable tragedy," said Phillips.

We argued in a column this week that Laken Riley is the inverse of George Floyd. Her death is the story that Joe Biden doesn't want you to think about or factor into the 2024 election.

George Floyd's death was a political opportunity for Biden. Laken Riley's death is a political indictment of Biden.

Hence, the disparate reaction from the president:

Rachel Campos-Duffy provided the following comment about the impact Riley's death could have on the 2024 election:

"Remember the suburban 'security moms' of previous elections? Laken Riley’s brutal, senseless murder by an illegal gang member may very well mark the rise of ‘border moms.’  Being murdered in broad daylight while jogging on a safe college campus signals to moms that none of our daughters are safe in Biden’s America.

"Riley’s death was a wake-up call to American moms - especially for moms with college-aged daughters. It’s terrifying, and we will be thinking about this beautiful future nurse and our own daughters when we enter the voting booth."

The New York Post investigation, learning how simply Riley's suspected killer and other illegals entered this country, should only further concerns for voters.
