Johnny Depp Becoming Bros With Saudi Crown Prince, Yachting Around The Country: REPORT

Johnny Depp lives a truly strange life, and that reportedly now includes striking up a friendship with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Depp was arguably the most powerful actor in Hollywood at one point in time. He was an unstoppable force during his peak when he was Jack Sparrow in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise.

However, he fell off following debunked abuse allegations from his ex-wife Amber Heard. Depp crushed her in court, and appears to be trending up ever since.

Will he ever return to his old status? That remains to be seen, but he's apparently found an unlikely friend in MBS.

Johnny Depp reportedly develops friendship with MBS.

Vanity Fair published a fascinating piece about Depp's "epic bromance" with the future Saudi king and current de-facto leader. He's not the king yet, but by all metrics, MBS is the one calling the shots in Saudi Arabia. That apparently includes inviting Depp to travel the country.

Vanity Fair describes the two as "real friends" after Depp spent seven weeks in the country and carashed a "royal palaces and camps" and traveled "the country by yacht and helicopter," according to the Vanity Fair report.

How close are the two? MBS loaned Depp his private 747 so he could make a trip to London. Lending a buddy a massive jet. Just guys being dudes.

Johnny Depp truly lives a life that is so strange. He has experienced the highest of highs as a Hollywood star and the lowest of low after Amber Heard accused him of abuse. Fortunately for him, he dominated the civil suit and is now friends with one of the most powerful men in the world.

What do MBS and Depp talk about? How do they spend their time together? Over cigars and whiskey? At the shooting range? I have no idea, but this sounds like the plot of a movie. I guess Amber Heard's attempts to bring him down failed in a huge way. The former "Pirates of the Caribbean" star went from being an outcast to flying on MBS' 747.

You couldn't make this up if you tried.

The most powerful leader in the Middle East becoming unlikely friends with a Hollywood star sounds like the plot of a great comedy movie. It might be time for someone to start writing the script. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
