Jessica Simpson Breaks Out Her Trusty Daisy Dukes As She Prepares For Another Big Summer

Jessica Simpson has gotten a lot of mileage over the years out of playing the role of Daisy Duke back in 2005 in the movie The Dukes Of Hazzard.  It's been almost 20 years since the movie hit theaters and when she needs to add a little something she can always call on the character's well-known cut-off shorts.

Over the last few years, the 43-year-old has discovered the fountain of youth, dropped a bunch of weight, and managed to start virtual street fights over her looks in the comment section.

Now she's trying to sell clothing to the obsessive ladies going toe-to-toe on social media.  That's why Jessica, once again, threw on a pair of her trusty Daisy Dukes.

This time as an item from her new clothing brand, Jessica Simpson Collection.  There's no need to model any Kim Kardashian bikinis and have those very same ladies start another war in the comment section.

Her brand has bikinis too, and she's putting them on shelves at your local Walmart.  The fountain of youth is just a few feet away from the chip aisle now.

Jessica Simpson Is Putting The Final Touches On Preparations For A Strong Summer

Jessica's bringing her version of Daisy Dukes and bikinis to your local Walmart with an eye on taking over the summer.  It's the time of year she really does some of her best work.

Throwing on some cut-off shorts is a solid start to the summer vacation season.  A summer vacation season, she tells People she wants a piece of.

"I am all about convenience and love the idea of one place where you can throw your kids in the cart, grab hot dogs and buns, some lemonade, sunscreen, an ice chest and a new swimsuit and denim shorts with a lip gloss to match for that BBQ you are hosting and be on your merry way."

There you go.  Throw Jessica Simpson, her Daisy Dukes, and bikinis back into the conversation.  She's throwing out strong indications here that she's gearing up to have herself a summer.
