Jenny McCarthy On Partying At The Playboy Mansion 'It Was Like Viagra Central'

Jenny McCarthy's path to Playboy isn't your typical one by any means.  She first became interested in becoming a Playmate while working at a Polish grocery store that sold the magazine.

The now 51-year-old says she went to the magazine's headquarters in Chicago, wound up doing a photo shoot, got a call to shoot for Playmate of the Month for that October, and was Playmate of the Year the following year.

That's not at all how it's normally done.  Jenny's chance meeting with an editor at 22 changed everything.  Her experience at the Playboy Mansion was a bit different too, as she explained during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

While there have been several claims by former Playmates, and those who dated/married Hugh Hefner, of unpleasant experiences at the mansion, Jenny considered it a positive experience.

Hefner was a married man when she hung out at the mansion, and she told host Andy Cohen, "There was that big Playboy scandal TV special, they asked me to be part of it constantly.  I’m like, ‘Listen, I didn’t have that experience.  Pamela [Anderson] didn’t have that experience.’  We were at a different time, I think."

Jenny McCarthy Calls Her Time At The Playboy Mansion "The Perfect Time"

When pressed to say that Hefner was a creep, Jenny wouldn't do it.  From her perspective, she didn't see any of that.  She said, "I was there when his kids were throwing bacon at me in high chairs.  It was the perfect time."

However, that doesn't mean Jenny didn't see her fair share of bizarre things.  She attended all the parties at the Playboy Mansion and was witness to some "sex going on with gross celebrities in the grotto areas."

She saw all the action and when asked to describe the vibe at the parties she said, "For every 20 guys, there was, like, one girl.  So, the guys were in heaven.  But also, the guys were, like, over 70 years old...  There was only hot women and the ugliest dudes...  It was like Viagra central."

There you have it, just a bunch of fond memories being shared by a former Playboy Playmate.  So there were old gross Viagra parties.  Jenny apparently had a good time and, from the sound of it, she has plenty of stories to tell.
