Jason Day's Masters Pants Are Going Viral

What is Jason Day doing wearing those pants during the first round of the 2024 Masters when he knows he's paired with Tiger Woods and the cameras will be on his all day?

That's the big question golf fans are asking this afternoon after Day teed off No. 1 wearing what look like pants straight out of the 2003 NBA Draft. This news of Day's wild pants comes just two days after I witnessed him wearing a polo shirt during his Tuesday round that read "Golf is Life" across the back of the shirt, which left the crowd surprised.

Needless to say, the TV audience immediately noticed his choice of pants for round one.

"Jason Day’s pants might be the ugliest thing I have ever seen," one observer noted. "Jason Day’s pants, what are you doing," wrote another.

On Instagram, Day openly showed off his "Golf is Life" shirt which led to instant destruction in the comment section. Apparently, Day is being represented by the Malbon brand which has a line of "Golf is Life" apparel, which means he had to wear the shirt, even though it's horrible.

"Truly awful, distasteful clothing line. I like you as a golfer, but you’re getting bad fashion advice from people," one Instagram analyst commented.

Now come the pants.

Are those Malbon pants? Someone in the press room will have to ask him later tonight. It's hard to tell by looking at the Malbon site if the brand is responsible for this fashion disaster or if Day chose pants out of his 2003 NBA Draft drawer.
