Fighting Braves Fan Avoids Cop's Tackle Then Gets Tased & Lands Flat On His Face While Attempting To Flee

The Atlanta Braves were at home on Friday night, hosting the San Diego Padres.  The game ended with the home team falling 3-1, but they weren't the biggest losers of the night.

A fan hanging out in The Battery Atlanta outside of the right field gate at Truist Park was.  After he exchanged some pleasantries in the form of punches with a group of fellow polo shirt and above the knee khaki shorts wearers, he had a run-in with police.

An officer who couldn't wait for something to happen in The Battery came sprinting over to the action.  He wanted to get physical and set his sights on the Braves fan who ended up taking home the biggest loser of the night award.

With a full head of steam, the officer tried to tackle the fist fighting fan.  He made nothing but mistakes with his attempted tackle.  The officer went in high and failed to wrap up his target.

As a result, the Braves fan easily shook the officer off and took the opening provided by him falling to the ground, to flee.  For a moment, it looked like the fan was home free.

He jumped some stairs and had what looked like enough steps on the officer to get away.  Had the officer not been as skilled with his taser while running, he just might have escaped off into the night.

This Braves Fan Was Trying Really Hard To Have A Bad Night

It wasn't meant to be.  This guy was going to have a bad night one way or another.  The officer hit him in the back with his taser from several feet away, and he immediately went stiff and fell on his face.

He was so close, yet so far away.  The fan's night of questionable decisions ended with a face full of concrete.  That's not how anyone wants their evening at the ballpark to play out.

The Battery Atlanta, according to their Instagram bio, is the first live, work, play, stay, and cheer experience of its kind.  They can add "occasional front row seat to wild interactions with police" to their bio after this.

That's how you end up going home with the biggest loser of the night award folks and some possible dental damage.
