Father Sought Counseling After Discovering He Was Paying For His Daughter's OnlyFans Content
What's worse than finding out that your daughter is making content on OnlyFans? How about finding out that you've been subscribed to her account and paying for her content? That has to be near the top of the list.
Well, it happened to a Norwegian man, according to his therapist. The married father was having a difficult time after discovering that he had been paying for his 23-year-old daughter's content and sought counseling.
Tone Haldorsen, the man's therapist in Norway, said he had found the local profile on the recommendation of his friends. He interacted with the content creator, who never showed her face, for several months before learning her true identity.
"It almost destroyed the relationship between them," Haldorsen said, according to the Daily Mail. "The father's thought of doing something sexual with his daughter made him physically ill. Now her body had been the source of his fantasies - and infidelity."
As you might imagine, this realization made things very difficult between the two. Both the father and daughter had to do a period of counseling to come to terms with the situation.
Haldorsen said, "they have almost got a closer relationship after this." The father is still married to his daughter's mother, who has no idea that any of this happened.
There Is Hope If You End Up In A Similar Situation
After making requests, buying extra content, and chatting with the woman, he started to wonder, given that she was local, if it was someone he knew. So he did some investigating.
"He was mildly shocked," Haldorsen said when he found out the truth. "He did not know that his daughter was on the platform."
The man's daughter had no idea that he was a subscriber either until he put it all together. She thought he was just another paying customer who was a big fan of her work.
The therapist believes that the daughter didn't let this bump in the road cause her to call it quits on her content creating career just yet. She's still improving lives one piece of content at a time.
These two gave their therapist approval to tell their story with the hopes that awareness would be raised about the potential problems associated with the use of anonymous profiles.
This is one of the many examples, according to Haldorsen, of OnlyFans use gone wrong. There have been grandparents, siblings and other family members who have found their relatives on the platform.
With everyone from police officers to school teachers and their mommas getting into the exclusive content game, you have to be careful out there. Or you could find yourself subscribing to your daughter's content and nobody wants to end up having to swim out of those waters.
