Community College Teacher In Tennessee Fired After OnlyFans Referring To Subscribers As Students Was Uncovered
For the most part, teachers being caught with OnlyFans side gigs is something that occurs among the high school ranks. There have been several over the last couple of years that have lost their jobs due to their extracurricular activities for extra cash.
The only one I can think of off the top of my head at the college level involved the university’s chancellor, not one of the teachers. That was until a few weeks ago when a faculty member at Pellissippi State Community College in Knox County, Tennessee, was fired for having an OnlyFans account.
Like the incident involving the chancellor at the University Of Wisconsin-La Crosse, there's a twist in the usual suspect with the explicit side gig. The faculty member at the Tennessee community college, who remains unnamed, is male.
A parent of one of the students alerted 10News to the fact that students had found the account and had seen images of the faculty member naked. The local news outlet collected screenshots from X and the OnlyFans account, which refers to subscribers as his students, that they say are connected to this teacher.
After connecting those dots, they reached out to the community college several weeks ago and requested the faculty member's personnel files. A few days later, they were given a link to the requested items, which included a termination letter.
The Community College Wasted No Time In Firing This Teacher
The letter was dated April 1 and was from the college's President L. Anthony Wise Jr. According to 10News, the letter reads:
"We have determined that the learning experience in the classroom has been disrupted which has resulted in a loss of effectiveness in your role as a Pellissippi State faculty member and teacher. Therefore, effective immediately, your classes have been assigned to other faculty members to complete the semester."
The faculty member was also ordered to turn in his college issued equipment and keys to the Dean.
There was no LeBron-like statement released by this guy or an opportunity for free promotion, as there have been with other molders of minds. They cut ties with him and kept right on moving.
That's likely for the best. You don't want to start encouraging others to follow in his footsteps. You'll run out of those willing to take their talents to community college.
