Disastrous Massachusetts High School Begs For National Guard's Help

What in the world is happening with Massachusetts schools?

Last week, Brockton High School officials sent a letter to the city's mayor asking if she could deploy the NATIONAL GUARD because things are so out of hand at the school. Apparently, the kids aren't alright as the high school has seen a tremendous surge in school violence, drug use and even people getting it on in the classroom!

The situation has become so bad that a growing number of teachers aren't even bothering to show up. Afterall, they didn't sign up to trade in their textbooks for taser guns.

"Over the past few months, our high school has experienced a disturbing increase in incidents related to violence, security concerns, and substance abuse," the Brockton School Committee wrote in an emergency letter.

OFFICIALS ARE ASKING NATIONAL GUARD FOR HELP

"The situation has reached a critical point. More recently, we had an alarming 35 teachers absent, underscoring the severity of the challenges we are facing," the statement continued before adding that they need the National Guard immediately in order to "prevent a potential tragedy."

But I thought school union President Randi Weingarten told us everything was just fine?

Brockton school officials' request comes as Massachusetts continues to spiral out of control. Whether it's "the prestigious" Harvard University promoting anti-Semitism, a Boston mayor throwing a ‘no-Whites’ holiday party, or a Wellesley, Mass. high school canceling its annual "USA Spirit Week," because somehow appreciating America is controversial, "The Bay State" is drowning in sorrow.

Over the past few weeks, a Brockton student was sent to the hospital after a savage beat down in the hallway, a teacher was trampled by students that "openly run and roam the hallways during class," and another teacher broke their arm after trying to protect a student that was beaten unconscious.

And I thought I had it bad when someone took my lunch money!

YOUNGER GENERATION IS OUT OF HAND

Unfortunately, what is happening in Brockton is just the latest example of a societal shift where there is no respect for law and order, traditional values or authority. It's what happens when people don't face consequences for their actions and thus, the free-for-all atmosphere that has been allowed to happen in many of America's big cities.

The emergency National Guard request was sent from the town's mayor to Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey this past weekend. Healey is the only one that is authorized to deploy the units. However, it's unclear if she will.

Meanwhile, the rest of us can fear for the future of the country because it isn't getting any brighter - both figuratively, and literally.
