Caucasian Chicago Cop Sues City To Change Race After Years Of Racial Discrimination

The city of Chicago now allows police officers to change their genders to whatever they choose, whenever they choose. An officer can head to the station in the morning as a man and walk out as a proud woman in uniform – no questions asked.

Officer Mohammad Yusuf questions the logic behind said policy. If his colleagues can change their gender, can he change his race?

He tried to find out, only to be met with rejection from the Chicago Police Department.

Yusuf has since filed a lawsuit against the city saying he's looking to change from "Caucasian" as he "currently identifies as Egyptian and African American."

Yusuf alleges that the department has repeatedly overlooked him for promotions because he's not African American.

The lawsuit points to the department's promotion system that "particularly" benefits "minority candidates," even if they did not score well on promotional exams.

Yusuf specifically claims he "scored in the first promotional tier" on the sergeant’s exam in 2019 but the department gave promotions to military officers with lower test scores.

The officer says he's seen "over 75 Merit Promotions to sergeants" since 2019,  with "less than five" going to Caucasian candidates.

"Despite Yusuf’s exemplary qualifications and the purported race-neutral policy of the Merit System, Yusuf has been repeatedly bypassed for promotion in favor of less qualified candidates, based on their race, specifically African American officers, some of whom had disciplinary issues and were not suitable for the responsibilities of a sergeant," says the complaint.

There are two responses to the lawsuit that should be addressed. We'll take them in order.

First, Yusuf understands the absurdity in requesting the department recognize him as African American. But by doing so, he underscores the absurdity in conceding that gender is a choice.

It's not.

Gender and race are biological traits to which we are born. Neither can be, honestly, worn like a cape.

Womanface – the idea that a man can turn into a woman by female attire and participate in "gender-affirming" procedures – is a lie. The trans movement originates from a fundraising campaign in which the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) leads.

Secondly, the type of discrimination Yusuf details is what I call Excused Racism – the idea that society must racially discriminate against white people to achieve racial impartiality.

Excused Racism, like Womanface, is also a myth. Excused Racism is still racism.

Yusuf is a 20-year veteran of the Chicago Police Department and, per his lawsuit, is not eligible for promotion because of his skin color. That is illegal.

Finally, the Chicago Police Department ought to focus more on arresting the violent thugs who plague Chicago and less on meeting the demands of gender ideology and DEI.
